I have been developing an expression through textile creations by working  with silk for 20 years. The wall hangings are made solely from Lyon silk, bought in entire bolts of natural silk satin which I then dye myself to obtain the various colours. I use different techniques like patchwork and appliqué work, sewing together all the pieces to be quilted by machine. My work is inspired by Kelim motifs and afro-arabic designs seen when travelling in those countries.
